Rainbow - Lead Guitar & Vocals - was born in the midwest and spent his early years in Yellowstone National Park where his Dad was a Park Ranger Naturalist. In early 1963, Ross discovered the Beatles in the records brought to America by his best friend’s English nanny and began his personal Beatlemania six months before their historic debut on
the Ed Sullivan Show. Strongly influenced by the Stratocaster heritage of Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix, his playing style continues those traditions with The Psychedelic Relics. Currently hailing from West Gloucester, MA, he has toured North
America with a variety of bands in numerous formats. His unique playing and vocal style help drive the heart of a truly
Robert Fleig - Rhythm Guitar & Vocals - A Brooklyn native, Robert (aka Loki) began playing the guitar at the age of 10 with a mission to embrace the music scene. In the 60’s, Robert became an avid Beatles fan. As time went on, his musical tastes grew to include folk music, late 60’s psychedelia, heavy metal and traditional blues. As a guitar player, he has been most influenced by Neil Young, John Fogerty, David Gilmour, Richard Thompson and, most of all by John Lennon. His distinctive vocal style provides pure excitement to The Psychedelic Relics.
Poppy Seed, a native of Salem, Massachusetts, moved up front after being the band's drummer for a number of years. Poppy started playing drums around the time the Beatles invaded America. She also plays rhythm guitar and a mean tambourine. Poppy's vocals are varied with styles from Janis Joplin, Robert Plant to Pasty Cline and Cass Elliot. Poppy also enjoys contributing to the intricate harmonies of the band.
At the tender age of 12, Joe's big brother took him to see Jimi Hendrix at the Boston Garden. Inspired by Jimi's drummer Mitch Mitchell, he tried his hand at drumming.and found that it was a natural fit for him. After performing with various South Shore rock bands, he spent the next several years as the drummer with many of Boston's best function and nightclub bands, including the "Class of '66", "Roundabout", and "Decade". Joe was also a much sought-after fill-in drummer during that time, performing on-call with bands in eastern Massachusetts. One of those bands was "The Notions", which featured Audrey on vocals and Joe's old friend, Ross Hahn on guitar. They went their separate ways when Joe moved to St. Louis, but upon his return to Boston 10 years later, it was time to get together with his old friends Ross & Audrey. Joining The Psychedelic Relics was another natural fit for Joe, who naturally adopted the stage name... "Mr. Natural." His solid command of the drums is evident on each and every song the Relics perform. From blues to high energy rock & roll, Joe covers all the bases with the ease and finesse only seen from a true pro! Many drummers talk the talk – Mr. Natural rocks the rock!.
